The existing dwelling was reconfigured to provide two bedrooms, a new bathroom and a large study/playroom while the new structure provided an open plan kitchen, dining and living areas with a separate laundry and utility room.  Large commercial sliding doors and windows provide a seamless link to the newly landscaped courtyard.  Polished concrete floors and raking ceiling protruding beyond the exterior walls create a light filled, contemporary internal space and covered outdoor area.
